Frequently Asked Questions
Contact us if you have additional questions. We'll be happy to provide you with answers to help you make an educated decision.
What is an interlock/stone relay?
Interlock relay involves removing your existing stone work so that the foundations underneath are exposed. The surface is then cleaned, releveled and flattened. The removed stones are clean and reset, giving your patio or driveway a new look.
Is there a cost benefit/savings to relaying stones?
Yes, as long as the stones are in good shape. It saves you the expense of purchasing new stones.
Is it better to replace my stones or keep existing ones?
The cost can actually be quite similar between the two solutions but largely depends on the price of the new stone.
What happens if I have broken stones?
Most stones can be matched, without seeing much of a difference between the new ones compared to the older stones. There are other options we can use to incorporate your used stones.
Can we use existing stones and new stones together?
Absolutely, that combination can work very well. For example we can add new borders or patterns, there are a lot of different combinations we can use.
How long does it typically take to relay stones?
Residential projects normally don't take more than 5 business days.
Do you also repair concrete?
Yes, we've worked on many projects where we had to replaced broken or cracked slabs and poured new concrete.
